Although courses allow for self-paced instruction, the faculty expects regular participation and contact as is required in our classroom courses. Some courses have specific assignment deadlines; whereas, some courses may offer more freedom in the timing of assignment completion.  Faculty has the freedom to design courses, meeting the needs of their students within the specific course discipline; therefore, each course may have a somewhat different structure or flavor.

You will be in contact with your instructor and online classmates through WebCt – CSC's course delivery platform.  If needed, you can schedule face-to-face meetings with your instructor.

As stated, courses vary in structure.  There may or may not be required campus visits.  Some courses may require tests to be proctored.  Out-of-district students may be able to arrange to have tests proctored at their local community college or at another pre-approved testing site.  Some courses are structured to be completely online.
